Projects
The JDF was established with the goal of helping other children and their families fight cardiac diseases and offer support and encouragement to all those affected by pediatric heart conditions. The foundation looks to promote awareness of cardiac diseases and to aide in further scientific and medical research of pediatric heart conditions.
In order to fulfill our mission we have partnered with and provide ongoing funding to the following organizations:
The Jayden DeLuca Foundation is currently funding research projects thru Children’s Hospital Colorado: “One of America’s top hospitals for kids” as reported by U.S. News and World Report. They pride themselves in their work with children both in and out of the hospital room.
As of February 2024, The JDF has committed $632,500 toward research projects being done at CHC. Click below to learn more about these specific projects and how they are changing the future of pediatric cardiac diseases and treatments.
The Jayden DeLuca Foundation is a proud partner of St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital–our very own local children’s hospital, and the most remote children’s hospital in the country.
We have worked with them to create The Jayden DeLuca Foundation Family Resource Room in both the Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Pavilion.
We have also funded many equipment needs to better improve the experiences that all children have when needing treatment at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
Most recently, The Jayden DeLuca Foundation Board unanimously voted to aid in funding of St. Luke’s Children’s Pediatric Rehab Clinic located in Meridian, Idaho. The clinic opened in May 2023 and has a profound impact on families seeking care for their children, improving access to rehab for the greater community.
In 2023, the JDF committed 2 years of funding to provide a new pediatric and fetal echocardiogram ultrasound machine for St. Luke’s Children’s Cardiology! They have named this new machine “Jayden” in honor of sweet Jayden!
As of February 2024, the Jayden DeLuca Foundation Patient Assistance Fund Program has been able to help 48 families through this program — giving back a grand total of $30,000 to help families experiencing hardships related to congenital heart disease. Stayed tuned to watch this number grow as we continue to review and approve applications monthly!
